What should I price this furniture?
My husband has a collection of antique furniture (chest, dresser, mirror and headboard) from the 80's. Served as our furniture when we got married and baby furniture from both of our children when they were young. Tough but very dated. What do I cost? I would simply give away, but my husband insists that it must be sold. I think that is unrealistic, but I've never sold furniture before. Any hints on what you pay for one out of style but very sturdy and well built bedroom furniture set?
If you're in no hurry to sell, I suggest you get a good few photos and put on craigslist, maybe $ 100 per piece if in good condition ($ 400-500 total?). If you do not receive a response within a week, closing the ad and put another $ 50 less. Continue Until you start receiving inquiries:)
